Hi, I'm Ann Maynard - I have been a button collector for many years, and BeeDevine began as a means of showing off some of the beautiful buttons that I have found. Each necklace will have glass buttons, Mother of Pearl buttons, lovely flowery plastic buttons from 50s, and metal buttons. Many buttons are works of art in themselves. To accompany the buttons I use antique and vintage beads that I have found in broken necklaces and bracelets. A lot of the enjoyment is scouring car boots and antique fairs looking for pieces that I can use. Vintage and antique buttons made of glass, metal, bakelite, and plastic are used, along with vintage and antique beads from 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, as well as new glass beads. No two necklaces will ever be the same. Each one is unique with its own special buttons and beads.
